To finish our study of Romans, we revisit lesson 16. This covers chapter 13 and submission to those in postions of authority. There are two ways to deal with this-
1. Paul is presenting the norm here, the ideal for government. If this is correct, we can understand why Paul warns against rebellion.
2. We can introduce the principle of Romans 8:28, so that even in the event that the state turns against the people of God in ways that could righty be called evil, He will bring good out of it.
